Emergency Medical Care is provided to over 47,000 citizens and guests of Stokes County 24 hours/day from four base locations: Danbury, Lawsonville, King and Walnut Cove. We utilize five fully equipped, paramedic-staffed ambulances and three quick response vehicles.
Stokes County is supported by fifteen local fire & rescue agencies that provide medical and rescue services.
Current equipment and treatment includes 12-lead monitors, 12-lead transmission, CPAP, transport ventilators, Rapid Sequence Intubation, team-focused CPR and aggressive treatment protocols.
